These may be the best winter cycling pants ever. Was gifted a pair, and immediately ordered another. May get a third, as they're good for hiking or just about anything in cool weather. Seem snag proof, as I walked through some briars with them and there is no evidence. Heck, they may be my main pants for wearing on a trip to UK where I expect to do a lot of walking and some cycling. Best bang for the buck.
These pants are awesome. I usually walk or bike to work and got these pants with the intent to wear them over my jeans. The first time I tried them out I walked a mile in a steady rain and when I arrived my jeans were completely dry. I was really impressed; with that much rain, I had honestly expected to be at least slightly damp. I'm 6' tall, 190 lbs so I got the largest size. I wasn't sure if they would be large enough to wear over jeans but it turned out to be just the right size. If I were going to wear just these pants by themselves I would go a size or two smaller. They are lightly insulated. Construction quality seems good.
Good fit for a man 5'8", 140 lbs. A little long in the crotch, but okay for cross-country skiing and steep climbs on hikes. May be too loose if intended for cycling.
Great windproof, breathable, warm, comfy, non Tight cying pants. Recommend.
P.s. the vents are the bomb
Bought them at the beginning of 2019 -
I hate the cold. I love these pants. I have worn them under my North Face snow pants and got hot. I do not wear them for workouts. I am 5'6, 180lbs bought XL and the length is perfect. Comfortable around the waist and loose enough to wear long shorts underneath. I wear them a lot so far they have held up. I wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
Update December 2019
Ok... I still lay them out to dry and they dry quickly. I wear long shorts or light layer of long johns under them and these have been my go to pants all winter long. They have held up well after washings (and I wash them a lot).
